Eligibility
Membership is open to all individuals and organisations that have an interest in Education generally and within small states specifically.
Types of Membership
Certified Members can make use of the Association’s Marks and are eligible to be appointed to the International Council. Membership is Free.
Founding Members
All Certified Members who/which join during 2010 will be entitled to describe themselves as ‘Founding Member of the Small States Association for Cooperation and Development in Education’. Certified Members can use the Founding Member Mark in addition to the Certified Member Mark for as long as they retain their Certified Member status.
Membership Requirements All persons/organisations, regardless of the nature of their occupation, profession or services that have an interest in the cooperation and development in Education with and within small states are entitled to join. The following are the membership requirements: Adhere to the principles endorsed by the Association. Fill out and submit the Membership Application Form Once the application form has been submitted the applicant person/organisation will be informed of whether their application has been accepted. The process does not usually take more than a few days. Directory of Members A directory of members is currently not provided. The Association sometimes receives requests from third parties to verify whether a person or organisation is indeed a Certified Member of the Association. The decision to allow or disallow this service should be included in the Membership Application Form.
